We store our gladiolus bulbs in carefully controlled conditions, and guarantee them to be viable upon receipt by the customer. Any returns or claims of damaged/nonviable bulbs must be made within 15 days of receipt by the customer.
A package will contain no fewer than 5 bulbs, and may contain as many as 12. Occasionally, there may be additional bulbs of a given cultivar available at additional cost, but usually not. If you are interested in purchasing additional bulbs of your cultivar, please indicate in the "comments" section of your order.
Gladiolus bulbs are a time and temperature sensitive, live product. Exposure to freezing temperatures will kill them, and failure to plant the bulbs within a year will cause them to deteriorate. Due to these constraints, we only ship bulbs during months when we can be sure they will not be exposed to freezing temperatures. We may plant any bulbs remaining in our inventory by early Summer in order keep them in good condition the following season. When you place an order with us, we will always ship your picture, and certificate within 3-5 business days of placing the order, but reserve the right to store your bulbs in carefully controlled conditions until the weather in your region make it safe to ship them. Upon special requests, we can make arrangements to ship bulbs immediately, but the purchaser will bear the increased costs and liability of doing so.
